Airdrie Real Estate

Airdrie was established as a railway village in 1889 during the construction of the railway between Calgary and Edmonton. Prior to 1901, the area only contained railway buildings. Development began, with the  first farmhouse and barn then later followed by a post office and store. It is now a bustling city  of 58,690 residents located 20 minutes north of Calgary on the #2 Queen Elizabeth Highway . Airdrie is divided into four quadrants, much like Calgary. Sometime referred to a a bedroom community, Airdrie homes for sale are a great choice.
